1. Our Compliance Commitment
Veritas Horizon LLC is committed to conducting business lawfully, ethically, and with integrity. We expect ourselves and the suppliers and partners we work with to comply with the laws and regulations that apply to a given project, product category, and destination. This statement is provided for general informational purposes; the specific obligations that apply to any engagement are confirmed in the written agreement and documentation for that engagement.
2. Business Registration and Verification
Veritas Horizon LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Georgia, United States. Our Georgia business status can be reviewed through the official Georgia Secretary of State, Corporations Division record linked from the website footer. We provide this verification link so that prospective partners can confirm our registered status through a primary, official source rather than relying on representations made on this website alone.
3. Third-Party Marks and Relationship References
All third-party company names, brands, trademarks, and logos that appear on this website are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification and reference. Their appearance does not indicate or imply any sponsorship, endorsement, approval, certification, partnership, joint venture, agency, or other affiliation by or with those third parties.
References to organizations may include past supply, active supply, supplier registration, sample-stage development, or commercial engagement. Relationship type, scope, and current status vary by project and are confirmed on a per-project basis. A reference should not be read as a claim of an ongoing contract, exclusivity, or endorsement. If you are an owner or authorized representative of a third-party mark and would prefer it not appear, or believe a reference is inaccurate, please contact us at Veritashorizon.llc@gmail.com and we will promptly review and, where appropriate, remove or correct it. Further detail is provided in our Terms of Use.
4. Operating Standard
Project requirements, supplier capabilities, documentation needs, and delivery expectations are reviewed before execution. Requirements vary by product category, destination, and project scope. Our standard is to communicate clearly, coordinate reliably, and confirm key terms and documentation in writing before a project proceeds, so that the obligations of each party are understood and recorded.
5. Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption
We do not tolerate bribery or corruption in any form. We expect that neither we nor those acting on our behalf will offer, promise, give, request, or accept any improper payment or advantage to obtain or retain business or any improper benefit. We expect our business dealings to be conducted consistently with applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, which may include the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and comparable laws in the jurisdictions where business is conducted. We expect the same standard from the suppliers and partners we work with.
6. Trade, Sanctions, and Export Controls
We seek to conduct business in a manner consistent with applicable trade laws, including economic sanctions, export controls, customs, and import requirements. This may include, where applicable, requirements administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control and other relevant authorities. We do not knowingly engage in transactions that are prohibited by applicable sanctions or trade restrictions, and we expect suppliers and partners to provide accurate information needed to meet these obligations for a given project and destination.
7. Food Safety and Distribution
For food distribution activity, we expect compliance with the food safety, handling, labeling, and traceability requirements that apply to a given product and destination, which may include, where applicable, requirements under the U.S. Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act, and applicable state and local food-safety rules. Responsibility for manufacturing, processing, certification, and primary regulatory compliance generally rests with the producers, manufacturers, and licensed suppliers of the products, and we coordinate documentation and handling expectations accordingly. Specific food-safety responsibilities for any engagement are confirmed in the documentation for that engagement.
Where Veritas Horizon LLC acts as an exclusive international distributor of food products, it does so as a distributor and not as the manufacturer or producer. Manufacturing, processing, food-safety certification, and primary regulatory compliance remain the responsibility of the producer, and any certifications described in connection with such products are those held, or in process of being obtained, by the producer rather than by Veritas Horizon LLC.
8. Product, Apparel, and Labeling Standards
For apparel and merchandise, we expect products and their suppliers to conform to the product-safety, content, labeling, and country-of-origin requirements that apply to the relevant product and market. Verification of conformity, testing, and certification is generally provided by the manufacturers and suppliers of the products. Where a project requires specific standards, certifications, or testing, those requirements are identified and confirmed as part of the project documentation rather than assumed from this website.
9. Supplier and Vendor Expectations
We expect the suppliers and partners we work with to operate lawfully and responsibly. This includes complying with applicable laws on labor and employment, prohibiting forced, bonded, and child labor, maintaining safe working conditions, and conducting business ethically. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue work with any supplier or partner whose conduct is inconsistent with these expectations or with applicable law. These expectations describe our general approach and are implemented through the specific terms agreed for each engagement.
10. Data Protection and Privacy
We handle information provided through this website in accordance with our Privacy Notice, which describes what we collect, how it is used, and the choices available to you. We aim to handle business information responsibly and to limit collection to what is reasonably necessary.
11. No Overstated Certifications
Nothing on this website should be read as a claim that Veritas Horizon LLC holds any specific license, certification, accreditation, or regulatory approval unless that license, certification, accreditation, or approval is expressly stated and can be independently verified. Descriptions of our approach and expectations reflect the standards we aim to uphold and the standards we expect of our suppliers and partners; they are not representations that any particular certification has been obtained. Where a specific credential is required for a project, it is identified and confirmed in writing for that project.
12. Reporting Concerns
If you become aware of conduct that you believe is inconsistent with this statement, with applicable law, or with the expectations described here, we encourage you to report it to us at Veritashorizon.llc@gmail.com. We take good-faith reports seriously and will review them appropriately.
